I’m Edward Lynch, the founder of The Gulf Game. I started this platform because I care about football in the Gulf and the people behind it.

I grew up obsessed with football. Coaching, writing, analysing, watching. It has always been my world. But what I noticed living in Dubai was that the stories here were not being told properly. There are incredible people in this region shaping the future of the game. Coaches. Players. Scouts. Clubs. Communities. Their work deserves to be seen and respected.

The Gulf Game is about giving them a platform. It is about raising standards and creating a real culture around football here.

I want everything we publish to feel alive. Not robotic. Not filtered. Real conversations. Real insight. Real people. That is what football should be.
